Joe anseo ag Gaelcholáiste na Cloiche Léithe. We’ve a great week of learning, playing dancing and singing ahead of us, all ‘As Gaeilge’.

⌚️We’ll be at the Coláiste which is located across from the church and beside the GAA field from 9am on Monday morning. Classes will commence at 10am and activities finish at 4pm.

📃To save us time on the morning, if you can, go to http://www.cloicheleithe.com/forms and fill in the info slip. If not, no worries, we have them here!

🚖Please ensure appropriate pick up arrangements are in place for 4pm everyday. 📚No copies are needed as we supply all the activity sheets and notes for the class.

🏃🏽‍♀️Finally, active wear will be necessary on each morning along with a smile! Go raibh míle maith agaibh a chairde!

Drámaíocht agus Rince – Drama and Dance
Gaelcholáiste na Cloiche Léithe ar blessed to be closely associated with the acclaimed CADA Performing Arts in Cork City.

Founded by Catherine Mahon-Buckley twenty years ago, CADA Performing Arts is an acknowledged centre of excellence for Drama, Dance and Musical Theater Studies.

CADA continues to provide classes for 2018 after a successful 2017! They offer a chance to discover your own strengths and weaknesses.  We all have particular abilities in certain areas and success can only be achieved through self-awareness and by developing in individual artistry that is uniquely your own.

The Academy programmes are committed to your needs, an approach which is reflected in the dedication and expertise of our staff, stimulation, creative ethos and the provision of a quality studio environment.  Our aim is enable our students to identify, develop and nurture their own skills, perfecting a professional attitude, an inner confidence, self-esteem and team skills with which our students can flourish.

The Academy aims to provide the broadest possible training, giving each student individual attention to enable them to graduate with professional confidence and most important to have fun while achieving their full potential.

The main emphasis of the course concentrates on practical training in a range of drama, dance, singing and music and theater studies subject and takes place in a specially designed and build spacious studio complex which opened in 2004.

CADA will arrive on every course this year and offer an intense workshop as part of the camp. CADA have a team of talented instructors, choreographers and artistic directors  led by Kelly-Anne Murphy, an accomplished Irish Speaker with a wealth of experience in performance!

A chairde, Conas atá sibh uile? Joe here at Gaelcholáiste na Cloiche Léithe. Your son or daughter will be starting with us on Monday and they’re sure in for a exciting week. Please note the timetable changes. The layout is as follows.

10am – 13.00 Ranganna

13.00 – 13.30 Lón.

13.30 – 14.10 Scannán/Movie

14.10 – 14.30 – Amhránaíocht/Singing

14.30 – 15.30 Cluiche/Games

15.30 – 16.00 Céilí (Mon – Fri)

Slán abhaile! Please bring a signed note if your child wishes to go to Centra (supervised) at 13.00 each day. Outstanding payments will be taken on Monday from 9.30am. Beir Bua! Good luck!
